Just a few days remains before the Street Cats Club’s very first Black Cat Ball at the Emporia Granada Theatre on Friday.
Just a few tickets remain, too.
Street Cats Club founder Victoria Partridge says the event is a near-sellout. She calls this a “passion event” for her, so she’s glad the community is interested in taking part.
Activities begin at 6 pm Friday with a VIP reception, including gourmet hors d’oeuvres and time with Street Cats Club foster cats. The main event goes from 7-10 pm with food from Chi Em Eats, a costume contest, “signature spooky drinks,” a haunted tour, a photo booth and prize opportunities.
Funds help the Street Cats Club tend to unhoused cats locally through trap-neuter-return efforts as well as emergency medical and foster care. Tickets are $75 a person for the full event and $50 for the main event. Residents can call 620-366-1215 or go online to streetcatsclub.org/blackcatball for more information.
